XML is still a hugely adopted technology, particularly in systems created in the 90s/2000s, and in the Enterprise (e.g. SOAP).

This feature is to add support for XML as a first class content type across all major languages.

Closing this issue, as XML is supported in the Rust core, and exposed in Pact JVM and Pact JS as of today. Specific feature requests for languages of choice should be requested.

I can see more votes for this, it would be helpful for those voting to share which language they are most interested in so we can focus our efforts. Currently, JVM (e.g. Java), JS and Rust support XML.

Would really love if Pact is able to cater for XML/SOAP, we use it so much in our organisation.

Any chance for ruby support in the near future? I'm working on a project with cXML and this would be super useful.
