Implement provider message check for Pact Ruby
complete
Serhiy Kopovskyi
We want to start using pact as a main microservices testing strategy in our company but in order to cover lots of async integrations we need to have a support to run them against providers (As I know there is a consumer part implemented so far) That's what actually stops other teams of using it for their services. Currently we do use it for HTTP checks but it's not sufficient. Thank you in advance.

Serhiy Kopovskyi Pact message in Ruby is implemented. See https://github.com/pact-foundation/pact-message-ruby#provider

Hi Beth: Thanks for your reply. I think I asked it wrong. As I see it's not implemented for the consumer (not provider) so the usual integration between consumer/provider wouldn't work ?
Would this be done in scope of this feature request ?

Serhiy Kopovskyi: Sorry, the consumer side is done, but not yet documented. See the note here and the link to the Ruby code example https://github.com/pact-foundation/pact-message-ruby/blob/master/README.md#consumer
